one of the more modern beers they make in here, a light session ale with grapefruit and a bit of hops. light haze to it in the glass, average white head on it, and a yummy aroma of fresh and natural grapefruit, both juicy and bitter at the same time. i get some other natural citrus in here too, orange and lemon to me, but in service of the grapefruit, really bright, and as forward in the flavor as it is in the nose. very complimentary hop profile here, even if its mild and behind the fruit. soft herbal tones lighten some of the up front bitterness, and i get some grain coming through, so this is not at all simplistic, and actually evolves a bit as it warms, with a little sweetness coming out and some body setting in, this is light in alcohol, but its not watery or thin in texture, good carbonation here too, so refreshing without being too minimal. a little raw in overall execution, but a tasty beer, very natural on the grapefruit, and something i think will work well in summer weather. this place remains underrated, both for food and for beer.

On tap at HH brewpub. Amber body with soft, filmy head, minimal lacing. Fresh grapefruit added, but still not very fruity. Caramel malts detectable at the finish. Not too exciting, but very refreshing.
