This is a great example of why we never filter our beers. We prefer to leave the flavor in the glass, not the filter! Berry Good Wheat is very cloudy and slightly pink with the tang of fresh berries. We usually use raspberries but we reserve the right to experiment with this seasonal favorite.

Grunt fill from Albertsons. Milky amber body, scant head. Aroma us very faint berries and ginger, mere accents to the malts. Taste too he vaguely features the titled adjuncts. Smotth breaxy flavors, toast and jam

hazy enough looking raspberry wheat here to be visually unappealing. its really murky, the red from the fruit with the wheat makes it look oddly pinkish orange, and it doesnt have much head by the time the pint makes it over to our table. it smells pretty good, the fruit is both tart and sweet, and its not so heavy that it blocks out the wheat malt, good proportions are evident, and the little bit of acidity makes it summery and mouthwatering like lemonade or something. the flavor is nice, plenty of raspberry here, maybe more a syrup or something than whole fruit, it has that concentrated sort of sweetness almost like a popsicle. the beer feels a little heavy to me with the sweetness and the wheat together, and the little bit of tang doesnt quite lighten it up as much as i wanted it to. its also sagging in terms of carbonation, so even though it tastes good, its not such an easy drinker. i am used to a far higher degree of refinement in the beers here, this one seems a little more amateur to me. my lady thought it was great though, so maybe i am being too harsh, but i had higher hopes for this...
