Brown where light shines through the edge of the glass. Great spotty lace.
Some burnt malt smells initially. Mild nose overall.
The flavor is much stronger. The burnt malt flavors give me the impression of a camp fire aroma. For some reason, I think green birch wood. The hop bitterness is potent but will blended. Warming finish with a dark toast flavor.
