Scriptown Brewing Co. "Hazy Daisy"
$4 / 8 oz. on tap at the brewery on 12/26/2025
Look: A hazy gold body is capped by a finger's width of bright white foam. The head retention and lacing are very good.
Smell: The aroma is very limited for an IPA, even a session IPA, but it does offer some sweetish and bready malt and floral and citrusy hops.
Taste: The taste follows the aroma with some additional sweet berries and a bit of grassiness. A moderate bitterness of around 20 to 25 IBUS balances it nicely between sweetish malt and hop bitterness but it's ultimately lacking in hop flavor.
Feel: Medium bodied and gently crisp-then-smooth.
Overall: As a session IPA at 5.5% it skirts by but you might as well just call it a pale ale as the hop aroma and flavors are lacking.
