Flown to Pittsburgh via my buddy Abe who had an interview out in Idaho then it was transported with us on our pilgrmage to Eastern PA namingly our Holiday Inn in West Chester where it was then imbibed and enjoyed by all. Appears very dark black chocolate hue opaque no ruby highlights to be seen when held to the light forms a huge tan head leaving massive chunks of evenly strewn lacing all the way from Idaho...gotta love growlers. Aroma has a multitude of deep chocolate and stronge espresso coffee layers burnt roasted malts touch of raisiny fruit component to it all coated with alcohol and leafy herbal hop notes. Taste has a dark chocolate bitterness with the dark roasts sustains a creamy dark chocolate flavor with a touch of fruity plum and alcohol mix solid R.I.S. Mouthfeel sits heavy stays on the palate big chunky body lower carbonation chugs along. Drinkability very nice big brew complex flavor tones defintely impressed with my first brew out of Idaho.
