The colour is pale rust-brown, the foam is pale beige with small bubbles. The foam is long lasting.
The smell is very fruity; there are notes of hops and malt. I could find some notes of chalk, wood and diacetyl.
The carbonation is strong with small bubbles, which tickled my tongue.
The first taste that I noticed was caramel malt. There are also some sweetness, and a sharp bitterness that didn't match each other very well. The taste is overall almost chemical and unpleasant, yet quite wishy-washy. The aftertaste is dry with some malt and a little burned flavour.
This is the follower to the classical dark lager "Spendrups Bayersk" and quite a disappointment. My advice must be "Have an Åbro Bayersk or a Falcon Bayersk instead".
