Not really a fan of the colour, it's a bit red! Aroma not the best...
Nice hops and orange peel. Though generally I am not a huge fan of this kind of ruby lager, though I really like their American lager and Kustom lager, but not a fan of this one ; )

A 330ml can with a BB of March 2018, so it's slightly out of date. Purchased a while back from Morrisons. The label describes it as a full-bodied amber lager dry-hopped with Citra and Cascade.
A: Poured into a tulip. A deep marmalade-orange colour with plentiful floating sediment and moderate carbonation. Produces a large head of creamy off-white foam that lasts for a few minutes before subsiding to a patchy surface layer. Slight lacing.
S: Aroma of sweet grainy malt with hints of caramel, barley sugar, subtle pine, a touch of citrus peel, hay, mild leafiness and earthy yeast. Rather nice for a lager.
T: Tastes of sweet caramel malt with notes of barley sugar, toasted grain, mild pine resin, a hint of weed, subtle citrus peel, hay/grass, leafiness and earthy yeast. Slightly sweet, followed by a modest bitterness upon swallowing.
M: Mouthfeel is smooth and tingly with well-judged carbonation and great body. Creamy and unctuous. Aftertaste of caramel malt, barley sugar, light pine, bitter aromatic hops and earthy yeast.
O: Pretty good, all things considered. Certainly better than some of this brewery's other lagers. Looks good, while the aroma and flavour are malt-driven with hints of aromatic hops. Lovely body. A bit sweeter than a typical lager but this doesn't do any harm. Goes down a treat - worth sampling.

Amber reddish color with a thick beige head with good retention and leaving laces.
Aroma with predominant notes of caramel, pine and some citrusy.
Flavor with notes of caramels, pine, tea leaves, mild chocolate and some toasted malts. Dry and bitter aftertaste.
Medium body with appropriate carbonation.
I found this Amber Lager too caramelly, though you can sure feel pine and citrus from its hops.
