Pours a clear light yellow with fine head.
Smell is light and crackery with notes of citrus and knäckebröd.
Taste is light, crackery and slightly sweet. Notes of citrus, Saltines and a hint of corn. Soft bitterness.
Mouthfeel is thin with good carbonation.
Overall, a decent lager, very easy to drink.

330 ml slimline can, as Norrlands Ljus Lager Økologisk ("Guld" is not mentioned on the can, but I assume it's the same beer), brewed for the Norwegian market. Bought at Bunnpris Jørpeland. ABV is 4.7%. Clear golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of grain and pilsener malts, a hint of herbal hops. Fairly crisp pilsener flavour, malts, a little citrus and herbal hops again. Fair enough.

The beverage is clear and pale straw colored, a white slightly uneven head, no lacing, no curtains.
The smell is slightly of corn flakes, boiled vegetables and a chemical acidity.
Starts rather sweet, white bread, green apples and a rather low clean bitterness. A slight alcoholic touch.
Medium carbonation, small foamy bubbles, a weak body, somewhat boozy feeling.
A straight, uninteresting, not impressive beer.

The Colour is pale gold; the large compact head is off-white. It sinks slowly leaving no lacing.
The smell is sour with some frowsy notes of pulp, black pepper, and motor oil. There is also a bitter chemical note of citric acid.
The taste is light with an unclean sour-bitter flavour. Dough, wet paper and paper pulp. Some notes of crackers and pepper. The aftertaste is sourish with a mild saccharine sweetness.
The carbonation is medium strong, the bubbles mid-sized. The liquid is watery.
Is this a beer brewed without any aroma hops at all?

33 cl really short-necked clear bottle. Label is in grey and silver. Looks so crappy so it's kind of cool-looking.
A: Pours light golden (just as the name indicates - in Swedish) with a airy light white head that sinks quickly, leaving almost no lace.
S: Malt and bitter hops, faint citric notes. Smells a lot better and more than I thougth before. A grainy off-smell with hints of butter, though.
T: Grainy, buttery and some pourly balanced malt. Citric notes together with faint bitter hops. I feel faint corn, even though the label states there's only malt in it...
M: Kind of rough light body and rich carbonation - quite offensive. Aftertaste is pretty short and holds only some bitterness.
D: This is my first Light Lager, and my guess before was that it would be like Adjunct Lager from America. In some ways it was like Adjunct Lager, but a little bit different. This is not my favourite style but this one wasn't as bad as I tought.
