A: Poured into a tulip glass to a pale golden yellow beer which is topped by a finger of dense and rocky white head which fades slowly to a collar around the edge of the glass with minimal lacing
S: Smells of funk, peppery yeast, and oak with some slight stone fruit notes
T: Taste is slightly tart juicy nectarines up front with some oak, peppery yeast, light spice, and a little funk. On the finish there's more nectarines, some drying oak, a little cracker like malt, peppery yeast, and a tinge of funk.
M: This beer has a body which is on the lighter side but it is not watery. Carbonation is slightly effervescent and adequate for the style while the beer has a slightly drying finish from the attenuation and acid.
O: Overall this is a really nice beer. It has good flavors and a decent amount of complexity. It's also held up well to time given this was bottled in 2021. I wouldn't mind seeing this one come back again.
