Orange straw with tight two finger head that leaves nice lacing. Nose is spiced apricots and faint woodiness. Taste opens with a nice blend of spiced orange juice that fades into juicy apricot and ends with some light oak. Body is light to medium with medium carbonation. Ends with a lingering spiced fuzzy apricot skin and some light oak tannins. Overall a nice saison for the price of $14 in 750cc format without the society discount, glad I bought a few with the discount.

750 ml bottle, 2022 edition, no bottling date I noticed. Served in a Teku, the beer pours a somewhat hazy dark gold color with about an inch off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both good. I like the aroma, the brew smells like orange peel, apricot, peppery spice, ginger, oak and some earthiness. The taste is pretty much just like the aroma, but there's also some coriander and funk flavors noticeable too. It's a little tart tasting, but it's more earthy/spicy tasting to me. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit coating with a good amount of carbonation. I liked this saison a lot, certainly worth picking up if you get the chance!
