Type: 32-oz. Crowler can
Glass: Lagunitas mason jar
From: My friend Chad
Price: N/A
Purchased: N/A; Received on Nov. 27, 2015
Consumed: Nov. 27, 2015
Misc.: No ABV anywhere (online, on the can or on their website)
Thanks, Chad!
Poured an orangeish, honey, hazy color with 2-to-3 fingers of frothy, white head. Could not see any bubbles rising to the top. Very good, layered foamy lacing on the sides of the glass. Average-to-below average retention. (Sight - 4.00)
Smelled a pleasant whiff, mainly getting orange blossom, floral hops, Galaxy hops, apricot, tropical and tangerine juice. (Smell - 3.75)
Taste follows the nose, getting Galaxy hops, orange blossom, unknown German hops (Hallertau?), Amarillo, apricot, tropical zest and bitter juicy peach. Tasted more like a single IPA or a heavy pale ale than a double IPA. (Taste - 3.50)
Medium-to-light body. Thin texture. Average carbonation. Long finish. (Feel - 3.75)
This beer as OK, but I’m just not a fan of Galaxy hops or Galaxy adjace. Was juicy and nice to try though. (Overall - 3.75)
