Consumed at the Strange Brew Festival held on May 18, 2019. I think they said it had mushrooms or something in the beer or process. Either way, had a normal beer appearance, maybe slightly darker than the standard gold/yellow hybrid color, 1/5" white head. There wasn't much in the aroma department.
Taste, I get they are going for the savory thing, but it just lacked a lot of beer qualities. Hops, bitterness? Nah. Barley body? A little bit, but not really. There weren't off flavors, there was just a complete feel that this was lacking a beercentric quality to it other than the appearance. I don't think I finished my entire pour, it just had that feeling that they put ingredients into the beer that didn't really come out in the finished product. It was like a regular blonde ale with some unsalted broth added to it. I dunno man, not my jam, but thank you for bringing a unique product to Strange Brew. Now can you get us some cheap 4/6 packs of berlinerweisse already?

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
