Had this on a summer trip to BeerNV. Always some new stuff on tap. Just added the beer to this Next Glass owned database, but I will also review the beer too. "Totally" surprised with all the claims of heavy traffic here, so many beers go months or years after I have them and they still don't exist in the database. Sure buddy.
Pours golden yellow. Great clarity. 1/2" white head, we have a good looking beer. Interesting they called this tropical despite its heavy aromatic lean to the citrus world. Mandarina in the house.
The taste is nice and brings the usual pilsner malt light approach giving a grain impression, but its largely behind a one two punch of traditional lager noble hops and what seems like a heavier Citra/Mandarina like presence producing waves of tangerine and orange as the lasting impression. Sure, noble gives a crisp edge in the mouthfeel and the grain pilsner malt angle. Commercial tug job says its the yeast giving tropical notes, but that wasn't my experience.
Steel Panther tonight, lets rock.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
