advertised as "house beer" though there seem to be multiple house brews
pilsener colored, cloudy opaque, no head to speak of. doesn't smell like much, really
it had a big clean citrus/grassy hop flavor (especially considring the style). the bizarre thing is, i would have sworn the hops were NW US hops (cascade or challenger or something)
the malt character was slight and very light, but appropriate i guess
i didn't expect much after having more than my fill of euro pale lagers on my trip, as well as another zwickl i had tried (didn't excite me much), but the hops really threw me for a loop. i guess i was experienceing a new european variety

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
