Plutzer Bräu "Dunkles"

Notes: Clear very dark brown with ruby highlights beneath a creamy tan head that has a yellow cast to it. Limited nose of dark fudge and toffee. The flavor is much fuller, adding chocolate (both milk chocolate and dark chocolate), although the toffee still dominates with the darker flavors underneath. Medium bodied with a moderate carbonation and a moderate bitterness, it smooth and accessible. Drying finish with some spicy hops. Really nicely balanced and polished.
