650ml bottle - so, a kettle-soured, raspberry-infused brew, then?
This beer pours a clear, bright medium magenta colour, with one finger of puffy, loosely foamy, and fizzy pale pink head, which leaves absolutely nothing in the way of lace anywhere near the glass as it quickly blows off.
It smells of fresh, tart and fruity raspberries, a mild lactic sourness, and very little else. The taste is more earthy and fruity raspberry pie, the kind made with Jello cream (thanks, Mom), some grainy and bready pale malt, further sour milk notes, a hint of 'Belgian Forward' yeastiness, and some ethereal leafy, herbal, and slightly perfumed floral verdant hoppiness.
The carbonation is adequate in its workaday frothiness, the body a so-so middleweight, and sort of smooth, as that tart raspberry thing doesn't exactly engender such impressions so readily. It finishes off-dry, the meek base malt, raspberries (duh), and tame milky essence still playing it from both sides.
Overall, this is one pleasant and engaging sour fruit beer - the resemblance to real raspberry desserts is amazing. Not to mention the very well-integrated 14-proof alcohol measure, which maybe starts to creep out of its shell once things warm up a tad. No matter, there soon won't be much of this one left for that to actually occur, really.

Bottle: Poured a deep reddish color ale with a medium size foamy head with OK retention and not much lacing. Aroma of fresh tart raspberry notes is pretty enticing. Taste is a mix of tart raspberry notes with light funky yeast notes. Body is about average with good retention. Well brewed beer with good drinkability but maybe a tad short on complexity level.
