On-tap served in a stemmed glass at Mikkeller Bangkok.
It comes a hazy brown amber color without any head but just some bubble popping up along the rim.
Very rich malty aroma of caramel, butter candy, burnt sugar, toasted bread, roasted malt, dough, and biscuit, also with a hint of earthy hop.
The taste is still dominated by the great malt bill of caramel, butter toffee, burnt sugar, toasted bread, roasted malt, dough, and biscuit like the aroma. There is some touch of hop too with its earthy and tea-like bitterness.
Medium body with some good crisp and moderate carbonation, quite smooth mouthfeel, finish is dry.
Overall, it is very malty and sweet with some cut of hop trying to alleviate, a pretty good ESB.
