The CANQuest (tm) is back for New Tying Up Loose Ends Beer Sunday, Redux (Week 760)! This one takes us back, in the TARDIS, to Week 752.
From the CAN: "Everything We CAN't Drink, We CAN".
I wasn't sure just what I was going to get in/from this one so once I CANducted the Crack!, I CANtinued with a slow, gentle C-Line Glug to get the lay of the land. It foamed up mightily to form two-plus fingers of dense, foamy, rocky pinkish head that resembled fresh-spun cotton CANdy. 8=O Color was an oh-so-slightly-hazy pinkish-magenta (SRM = N/A). Nose had a vinousness like my uncle's homemade blueberry wine! Sour? Meh. Tart? Yeah. Mouthfeel was thin-to-medium, a few steps beyond watery. The taste was very much of blueberry although the black currant was also perceptible. It really reminded me of my uncle's blueberry wine, especially with the light tartness. Again, not really sour, per se. Finish was tart & dry. I was not totally enamored of it. It was fruity, but it felt somehow lacking. I dunno. YMMV.
