We called it a Philly a day but are actually navigating the wide loop down and around without actually touching the city limits. South of the city and closing in on Delawhere the hell are we, oh yeah, okay, it’s got to be here, wait, okay, go that way. Circled the industrial park to find the tap room on the frontside of the backside brewery, as it reasonably would be…

Davo has already been bitten by the house cat (a few times) and we’re just in the door. Rounded corner stainless steel ‘L’ bar, corrugated curvy base with brewery stickers pasted, & a piping foot rail. Seating for none just now as I don’t know if you’ve heard, but there’s a goddamn pandemic going on. Stainless panel on the barback wall with a row of 20 non-descript handles and a nitro. A shelf above holds growls, crowls, cans, & pint glasses, and a single tap board atop (beer, style, & ABV) with flats to both sides. Crowl crimper off to one side, and glassware countered below. Handpump on the end of the bar, unused, regret, sadness.

Worn concrete floors, black drop ceilings with recessed lights & spinnys, and three-toned blue walls with forward panel windows. Flats on the walls, 2SP branded beer art, & (other) brewery tins; Weyerbacher, Pizza Boy, Allagash, Rogue. Hightop recs & squared 2’s (some of them pushed together), more seating around the bend there (me, pointing), and they’ve got an outside deck for Covid life seating, as well. Crowl/can cooler in the front and bottles alongside, too. Merch display mounted & racked.

21 beers up; 6 ‘All Weather’ beers (Delco Lager, Amber Lager, 4%; Pony Boi, Golden Lager, 4%; 2SPils, Kellerbier, 5%; Back & Forth, Hazy Pale Ale, 5%; Up & Out, Hazy IPA, 6%; Baby Bob, American Stout, 6%), another dozen+ seasonals, occasionals, & one time releases (Big Sleep, Baltic Porter, 7.6%; Supple, Vanilla Porter, 6%; 5th Anniversary, Wheat IPA, 6.9%; Pale Smoke, Smoked Helles Lager, 5%; Taco Cat, Pale Ale, 5%; Voluptuous Fuzz, American Wheat Ale, 4.8%; Easy Peasy, Foeder Lemon Saison, 6.1%; Bell Cracker, DIPA, 8.7%; The End, NE DIPA, 8.3%; Delcofest, Oktoberfest, 6%; Swipe Out, American Blonde Ale, 5.6%; Top Rope, IPA, 6.7%; Patina, Saison, 7.5%; Pony Gurl, Coconut Golden Lager, 4%), and a stray nitro (The Russian, RIS, 9%). Also, a pair of wines & a cider.

Pours in mostly pint or 12oz, and 8oz shorty, and they’re offering a $10 ‘All Weather’ flight of 6. Sampled and shortied with 2SPils, Kellerbier; Back & Forth, Hazy Pale Ale; Baby Bob, American Stout; Taco Cat, Pale Ale; Delcofest, Oktoberfest; Top Rope, IPA; Patina, Saison; Pale Smoke, Smoked Helles Lager; and the nitro The Russian, RIS. Was liking on the Kellerbier, American Stout, & Oktoberfest. I thought the Smoked Helles was on the phenol ledge, though. And damn, that RIS is nice. They make some good hoppys, and really, nothing is of the suck.

We ate the obligatory $2 life during Covid slices and there’s a bucket of palate cleansing chips to be had. Server lady (not her actual name) was polite, attentive, & knows beer. They’ve been playing a lot of Tom Petty. Siriusly, I do dig it. Witz took the Eastwood (West Coast IPA) to go, and Ben bought the RIS & Top Rope IPA cans. Not too much to the tasting room, but it’s chill, and the beers are good.

Have been to both the Newark and Middletown locations. Similar vibe which has a good mix of locals and others. Beer quality is decent with a good mix of the 2SP drafts and bottles of other good regional beers. Food is a little upscale. This is not a greasy burger bar! Service has always been good.

I love this brewery so much and I am sad to learn that Jill left, the manager of tap room, I loved her! They have a cat who lives there full time, her name is Brewery Cat and for christs sake please be mindful when you park, as she does run around the parking lot freely at night! I fear she'll be hit by a car but hopefully she is smarter than that!

Anyway, its in Chester TWP technically, but Concord Road is not Aston, or Chester and its still really on the rural side, and it heads to a ruralish area. When I am heading to my parents or best friends its right on the way for me..there is no kitchen, so I always come after I have eaten.

The beer is quality! Back and Forth is my favorite beer of 2019 and Jill can attest to that. Baby Bob Stout is second place. I was thrilled to buy cans of the beer they made for Audubon birds and the Delaware River Watershed. Crab! is my favorite one off pale ale from 2SP.

located in a commercial/industrial building, watch for the parking lot entrance or you'll drive by before your GPS tells you to. Inside there is a small bar and then other areas to stand and drink. No food, just beer but they get food trucks. I heard someone asked if they had non-alcoholic drinks for kids, nope just water. They had about 5 year round beers then like 10 seasonal beers on tap. Different size pours available. they also had a cooler of to-go six packs and large format bottles. you can also order a whole case of beers if you want too. service was good at the bar.

Stopped here on a small road trip the Philly area to tick off some new beers. Originally I drove right past the place not knowing it was part of a large warehouse/office-like building with a parking lot entrance. The vibe was cool it was later in the day and they had a good amount of people there. The selection was pretty nice, lots to choose from on tap along with cans and bottles to take home. The service was good.

Visited on a Sunday, in an empty industrial-ish area. There was a yoga class going on in the back, while a half full bar (about 20 seats) contained people sipping on beers and watching a couple TVs over the bar. The clientele seemed friendly with the staff that I assumed they were regulars. Quiet for a while, parties started coming in around mid-afternoon and the place became a little more lively.

The people I did meet were nice, and the staff were equally so. We are usually pretty laid back at breweries, but they were attentive to our low beers, asking for our next choice before we took our last sips.

The beers were all decent enough, though to me they all seem to have an extra malty sweetness. There were a couple exceptions to this generality. This sweetness hurt some beers, and added a different perspective to others. There was an aspect of tastiness to the beers, but also a seeming note of fuzziness that I feel can be improved upon. There was a nice wide variety of styles, and as I recall there was about 15 beers on tap.

Tucked away in an industrial park- the friend that I met there the other day drove right past it! But just 6 miles from my house, this place is a gem! They have their usual standards on tap, in addition to 8 (?) other rotating one-offs. They make really good beers. The staff are friendly and will offer you a taster if you are into that. The food selection is limited, but they have a schedule of food trucks that park out front. I have only gone for the beers. As mentioned, they are really very good, and several of the brewery exclusives I have had were top notch. Lucky to have them in Delco!

Literally in the middle of nowhere, in an industrial park. Seriously desolate. But the taproom is cool and spacious, and for a new brewery, 2SP is very serious.

We sat at one of the many high-top tables surrounding the bar and ordered from the bartender. They have 6 regular taps here (“All Weather Beers”) and 8 “Seasonals, Occasionals & One-Time Releases”. Among the regulars are their Lager, DIPA, IPA, Wit and Stout, and their seasonals include a Tripel, Imperial Pumpkin, Bitter, Farmhouse, Belgian Blonde and more.

They have a very limited food menu of two sandwiches and bagged chips, but the ham-and-cheese sammie we got was delicious. Relaxed atmosphere, good service and a nice time here.

This place is a must visit with a good selection, quality, and freshness but the prices are a bit steep. I like being able to bring in my own eats and this place is no problem with that and they have plenty of tables.
Very pleasant server who brought us pre-tastes of everything we asked for.

A combination strip mall and warehouse is the location for this place and the two of us who visited liked it fairly well. The have a wide range of their beers on offer, the crowd was congenial and in good spirits, the service was very good. All the beers were just fine although the neither of us thought any of the 8-9 different beers we sampled were particularly outstanding. While they are not big on the food, they are quite happy to have you bring in Pizza from nearby places and many nights they have a food truck out in the parking lot for the convenience of the customers..

On the whole I'll be happy to visit again and am looking forward to the improving quality of their range of beers on offer as they get more experience with the relatively new equipment and the freedom to explore and fine tune their own ideas, directions and various aspects of their entire operation. (They opened for business in Aug. and are already showing signs of popularity, growth, etc.)

This brand-new brewery which is local to us, is a welcome arrival. It is hooked up with the Two Stones Pub, a DE Valley small-chain pub/restaurant with three locations in DE and nearby Pennsylvania. It is in a rather funky location, so we thought only the brave-hearted would be there, but actually every time we have gone, it is quite busy and even hopping! Since it is in an industrial complex, the vibe is a little cold, but it is very clean and much attention has been paid. The year round brews which are regularly offered now at the pub locations, tho' perfectly fine, we find not particularly thrilling, although the Baby Bob Stout is indeed remarkable. We much enjoy the seasonals, which, so far, seem to be only easily found right at the brewery. And, thankfully, many priced at a nice reasonable five-dollar pint. So it is worth the brave-hearted drive! By the way, so far, limited or no food offerings. This is just a beer drinking tasting room, so be advised.

A pretty awesome place despite the lack of a real kitchen. 2SP is consistently excellent, showing an impressive mastery of all styles. Always a ton of beers on tap. From the Delco lager (a better Yuengling lager that brings in the less adventurous and non craft drinkers) to the ASAP (in competition with FW Easy Jack for best session IPA), IPAs of all types (my favorite at the moment is Zoltan, head and shoulders the best red IPA I have ever had), Patina saison, SIP Imperial Porter, never had a bad one.

Service is always very good. Food menu is limited to stuff like cheese and charcuterie plates and a couple of paninis but they are pretty tasty.

Totally worth the 30-40 drive each way from home, even better when it's 10 minutes from my mom's.

Go there.
