Fantastic - bright, sweet, good nose and just and enjoyable drinking NEIPA. Careful though, you’ll want more of these and at 7.7% they’ll catch up to you.

Opaque banana colored pour, small head, decent lacing. Tropical aroma. Melons, tropical fruit flavor and hot (alcohol burn). Tastes even higher than the advertised 7.7%. Still, enjoyable.

From a tap, delivered in a clear pint glass it came. It's dense dirty blond with a soft white head. It smells both bready and citrusy. Most of the breadiness dissappears in the taste, but the citrus aspect, lemon?, grapefruit?, comes forward strongly. Yet, there's enough starch to the backbone to keep it from being too astringent. This is a very soft way to consume a brew with an ABV of 7.7% with just enough hopping to ensure you know you're drinking an IPA. There's even some stratified glass lacing to mark the few times the glass was lifted until it was empty.

A thanks to the captain of the canquest, woodychandler, for this beer. Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a hazy golden color with a 1 inch head. Smell is of peaches, oranges, mild to moderate bitterness. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer.

16oz can purchased from the fridge as a single for $3.99. Canned on 6/23/2020, so this is just over 10 weeks old / almost 2 1/2 months old.
Look: Pretty hazy yellowish golden hue, but still lets light through at the bottom and sides of the glass. Nice frothy compact white head upon pouring, but died down to a thin wispy layer that clings to the sides of the glass.
Smell: Very nice nose. A melange of stone, tropical, and citrus fruits. Most notable is peach gummy rings or jolly ranchers. Also passion fruit, guava, pineapple, blueberry or blue raspberry candy, mango, lemon drop, and generic citrus. Underneath it all, at the back end it smells like green bell pepper and I detect some earthiness / mustiness. The aroma is definitely mouth-watering.
Taste: Quite a crusher for 7.7% ABV. Up front, it's juicy and fruity - albeit a touch thin - get lots of peach mango notes. Then there is this soft, peppery bitterness that travels through the palate and lingers quite long. It's very interesting and is a nice counterbalance. I get a lot of citrus pith and grapefruit hard candy on the finish as well.
Feel: The body is a bit thin compared to what I was expecting. It's medium bodied, but it lacks the super pillowy, creamy mouthfeel that you would expect from a NEIPA brewed with the addition of wheat and oats. Still works well though, has the appropriate level of carbonation, and lends to the relatively high drinkability.
Overall: I was blown away when I revisited the website and found out that this is hopped exclusively with Citra. Very impressive that such a complex nose and taste was achieved through such a simple hop bill. Overall, a very enjoyable beer. It's nice to see such complexity with a single hop brew - and also with a lot of notes that are not the typical citrus-driven ones that come from a lot of other all-Citra beers. Definitely recommended!

Pale orange in color with a very hazy appearance. Poured with a robust, creamy, bright white foam with good retention that left sheets of sticky lacings on the glass. Earthy citrus orange aromas with light herbal notes. Medium light malty aromas. Medium bodied with soft medium light carbonation on the edges. Pleasant, creamy smooth texture with a mellow bitter dry feel followed by light boozy warmth. Citrussy hop flavors with light herbal notes and a touch of spice before medium bitterness through the middle. Bitterness persists to the end accompanied by citrus orange, fruity and malty flavors. Finished semi-dryly with citrus orange notes followed by mellow, lingering pine hop bitterness. Subdued malty and fruity characters balance out the tasty hop character in this hop forward pale ale. Very tasty with a great feel and finish.
