L: real nice opaque orange haze with about 1 finger of fluffy white head
S: heavy tropicals, pineapple, and big time mango
T: follows the nose as far as tropical fruit. Followed by a slight hop burn and a little booze.
F: Thick and heavy
O: a big beer with big flavor

Ethically, is there truly any clean money? Rhetoric aside, the evaluation of a pint can poured into a clear glass liter mug begins. The beginning is nearly horrific. A gentle pour quickly produces a huge starchy white head, so already the too much wheat in the wort flag is raised. The bulbous head recedes unevenly, another sign of too much wheat in the wort. The aroma is of a nicely hopped IPA, but the visual warning signs are already in place. The huge starchy head is subsiding and leaving no lacing in the glass. At this point, not much is expected here. Expectations are not superceded by the taste. There's a one dimensional burst of sweetness and hoppiness on a scant mouthfeel. It's got the sweet and bitter play of a good IPA, but there's no depth, nor character to either side. The mouthfeel is way too light to accommodate even this, less than notably malty rich, nor hoppily bitter. Spend your money elsewhere.

I like these guys, and I like this beer. Canned 1/7/21 and consumed 1/15/21 - astounding job by my local monger - keep it up!
L: Drinking from the can. It's sharp although not distinguished.
S: lots of lemon and some sweet citrus. nice but subdued
T: lots of flavor compared to the nose. tart lemon dominates. little bit of pine. resiny bitterness on the finish. might not work for everyone but it works for me.
F: rich, smooth, resinous.
O: great local brewery that continues to churn out good stuff. Keep it up!
