It has the look of the new New England IPAs whilst sitting, freshly poured from a pint can, into a clear glass liter mug. The color is an opaque yellow-amber with a frothy white head. Suspicions arise that this might be over starched. There's much more glass lacing in the vessel than aroma emitting from it and concerns that this might be over starched increase. The body and the sweetness of the malt base put those concerns to rest. Even with that sweet malt backbone, the hops rule. They have varying taste offerings from mildly earthy to sharply bitter upon exit. Smooth, complex and bitter finishing, this is very well done, closer to the goodness of the original NEIPAs.
