In a clear pint glass, filled from a tap, it sits. Roasted malt and coffee are already in the air. It's the typical black coffee brown of most stouts, with a reasonable tan head. This is a very good coffee stout. The coffee and roasted malt compliment each other, rather than to seemingly outdo each other, making it very well balanced. Also, it has that wonderfully bitter finish that only black coffee, roasted malt and some hops can provide. Maybe it's not exemplary, but the mouthfeel is pretty good for this style. You get some reasonable glass lacing, too. Very much worth a try for anyone that likes coffee stouts.

Pours black in color, cream colored head. Nice aroma of coffee and cream. Similar taste, nice roasty coffee flavor with a touch of sweetness to balance. Medium to full bodied.
