The entire contents of a pint can were emptied into a clear glass liter mug. Plenty of stark white foam was produced, but no more than what was expected from a wheat based beer. True to the West Coast style, it's not very hazy. The light golden-amber color is rather bright and mostly clear. There's not much for the nose; maybe a little starch, hopping and orange notes. The standout aspect of its flavor is the citrusy bite of the hops. There's really not much more to taste than that, which is much like most ordinary West Coast IPAs. The orange inclusion is better integrated than feared it would be. You'd almost have to know it was there to discover it. Its contribution to the overall taste is a plus, something that doesn't often happen in IPAs. The mouthfeel is mediocre, maybe a little better than most wheat beers. There's no assist to the visual from any glass lacing. A take it or leave it brew, with a hop bite a little more than modest and slightly orangey.
