Enjoyed from a growler via the brewery in a pint glass. This fest pours a nice clear red tinged amber with a nice head of white foam that subsides to a thick ring, thin layer, and solid lacing. Nose of caramel, breaded malts, and herbal hops. Flavors follow the nose with light bread and caramel malts on all sides that fade a a light tart fruity note that rests on a moderate herbal hop bitterness. Good carbonation makes for good sesionability. Nothing too outstanding, but decent for the style.
