Pours a cloudy amber color. 2/3 inch head of an off-white color. Great retention and good lacing. Smells of citrus hops, slight floral hops, hint of piney hops, sweet malt, and a hint of alcohol. Fits the style of an American IPA. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of citrus hops, slight floral hops, hint of piney hops, slight spruce, sweet malt, and a hint of alcohol. Overall, good appearance, aroma, feel, and body.

Taste: bitter, citrus, piney, spiced hops with a crisp finish. Earthy, floral hop nose. Amber/gold hue, clear, with a refined head and lace. Medium body. solid almost toothy mouth-feel. 50 IBUs

Well, bless this beer.
Brewed in someone's basement (maybe Hank's) as the cash cow of a two brew shop.
And the best part is, they figured out a recipe for decent AIPA. (It stays within itself.)
Hank does the right stuff: refreshing, palate cleansing, interplay of hops and malt.
The only suggestion I have is to tame the hops: too dry in the finish.
Sorry, but I will not have this again... but only because I've had twice only a dozen of the 8 dozen AIPAs that I've rated.
But I enjoyed it... and that is not faint praise from a malt-head.

12 oz bottle pour into a glass can.
The cloudy-copper colored body floats a thin tan head that quickly dissipates with artistic lacing.
Aroma is hops, pine and bitter.
Subtle grapefruit hints mix in the bitter hop flavor.
This wants to be a big beer but I'm glad it doesn't get there.
Finshes silky with a hop reminder. Leaning heavy.
A nice beer for having between golf and dinner.
