On draught at the brewery.
Straw colored, with decent clarity. A fairly dense creamy head with nice lacing.
Smooth and lightly toasted Pilsner malt, slightly earthy, hints of leather, mild bitterness.
A refreshing Pils
Update: Virtually the same poured from a can.

Strong for a pilsner. If the rating was relative to all pilsners, it would be higher around 4.5, but as relative to all beers it is a 4. Great taste you won't be disappointed.

The beer itself is smooth, but lacking a robust flavor other pilsners afford. Its most attractive quality is the beautiful golden color. I’m having one on tap and it pours beautifully. This could be an easy all day option.

From a can, it pours as a hazy gold with a thin white head that quickly dissipated. Slight wheat aroma. It tastes of hops with a spicy tang, slight malt sweetness, and typical pilsener body (ie, light). Overall, better than the average pilsener (which is NOT my go-to style), due to the spiciness.

12 ounce can poured into a Pilsner glass.
A one finger white head caps a hazy yellow pour. The foam fades to a ring inside of a minute.
Fresh lemony aroma is a little soap-like. The flavor is also lemon forward, and zesty. Body is medium weight a soft with the medium carbonation just enough to give it crisp edges.
This one definitively seems like a Zwickelbier and the lemon flavor gets to be a bit much.

Looks and drinks more like a zwickel. Having said that, it ain’t bad, and easy drumlin’ to boot.

On-tap @ 7 Locks Brewing in Rockville, MD.
Slightly hazy, deep gold color. Small white head. Herbal and spicy hops are front and center in the aroma and flavor, but are balanced nicely by bready malt. Medium-light bodied. Lightly bitter finish. A nicely balanced, well-rounded pilsner.
