Poured from the can into a Libbey style pilsner glass. Canned May 5th 2020.
Rich light amber body with a dark brass and nearly brown color. Quite clear nearly crystal appearance with some ultra fine carbonation. Big fluffy white three finger head with off white color and real big retention. Great looking brew.
Delicious aroma. Hits of light herbal hop and touches slightly tropical. Fairly neutral malt presence, and not much clean senses from a lager.
Palate is real nice. Good fruit juiced of sensing tropcial flavor on first sip in the mid palate. The after taste is a classic lager bitterness of grassy and herbal hop which is a great contrast to the base flavor. Somewhat crisp, but also a faint hint maybe of oily buttery diacetyl slickness kicking in on the flavor and on the tongue as well.
A pretty decent tasty hopped up lager, with perhaps a minor fault that isn't too distracting luckily.
