Poured from the can into a Teku glass. Canned June 5th 2020.
Thick frothy rich four finger head, bleach white with big soapy bubbles. Peach to light orange/yellow body color with an opaque appearance but with no haze like quality. Solid looking IPA.
Real nice aroma. Touches large biscuit and faint hinting citrus notes. A large hit of peanut butter like malt, with a good hop mix as well of light orange and faint citrus on the nose as well.
Palate goes more into malt slightly. Good sticky nutty quality, with a big touch of citrus orange and apricot notes. Clean and fruity finish, with a sense of chewy malt almost nut butter aftertaste.
Interesting take on an IPA, but with a distinct malt palate. Doesn't quite feel like NEIPA but certainly not a bad IPA at all.
