Poured a bright gold, crystal clear with a nearly white head. Not too much retention, but plenty of lacing. Aroma was grassy with a bit of light malt.
Tastes of noble hops, nice and grassy, with a bit of the lager yeast's sulfur taste, and a touch of malty sweetness on the finish. Fairly light on the tongue, and finished cleanly with only a bit of aftertaste.
A very pleasant surprise. While nothing spectacular, it tastes like a proper German lager, and is by far the best I've ever had from Pittsburgh Brewing.
