On tap:
Ruby/white grapefruit blended juice look with an ok combined ring/lacing.
Wheat and orange reminiscent of a cereal breakfast with citrus juice for breakfast is the aroma. A more distinct juice front to the taste, but a strong malt/grain base is involved. A rind/grain husk bitterness backs this.
A pedestrian pale ale that the orange addition doesn’t work for my tastes, even if its intentions are met.

Poured into a Teku. Very hazy and somewhat turbid. Bright yellow in color with a modest white head. Nice citrus aroma right out of the can. A closer sniff brought orange, lime, pineapple, and faint crackery malt. Taste followed with bright orange flavor and a tinge of acidity particularly on the finish. The bitterness was moderate throughout and the feel was soft. Overall a nice fruited IPA that bordered on sour with the oranges, but it worked for me.

Canned on 9/30/19; drank on 10/17/19; labeled at 6.1%; good beer and much better than other blood orange IPAs I have tried before; the added citrus delivers a little too much acidity for my liking; needs more carbonation

Can dated 10/25/16.
Pours hazy orange with a half-inch khaki head that remains as a film on top and leaves spots of lace. The smell is of orange, tangerine and a hint of pine. The taste follows with blood orange, pineapple, and dare I say, subtle malt accents. Medium texture with medium carbonation. Balanced and refreshing.
