Gose with Montmorency cherries and black lava salt. This one is a straight fruit bomb. We went crazy on this one. We did over 6 times the amount of fruit as Crucial Aunt. We ended up adding a total of 630lbs(75 gallons) of Montmorency Cherry purée. Smells like a straight up cherry pie. We tried to also make this the most acidic kettle soured beer we've released and have done just that. The black lava salt adds a really nice complexity and minerality to the beer.

Everyone's gonna knock this beer (or has) because of the smell...but let's go down the list anyway.
The color on this one is awesome, beautiful pink red with offwhite head...The nose, on this canning run anyway, is like aged white cheddar, funky old cheese. I happen to love cheese, so, while initially offputting, actually ended up being totally intriguing and I kept going back for another whiff. The taste was real good I thought, real nice cherry & slightly salty flavors. Dry finish bring this one to a close, and I think it was really well done other than the unintentional smell.
Cheers, The Veil, don't let a BA (or elsewhere) brotha keep you down

If it wasn't for the smell, this would be a decent beer, but when something smells like vomit, old cheese, dirty feet, etc, I can't enjoy it. Had 3 sips and then dumped it. Complete waste. Sad

First of all, I would like to say I was very excited to try the beer. As soon as I opened the can I could smell the butyric acid. Color is a bright red/pink and really attractive. Everything else is a failure. I do not know why the brewer would package/even try to cover up the corpse like smell. Either he was trying to make money off the batch/affraid to dump it. I would think the first lesson from Shaun Hill would have been dumping a batch is better than putting out something that could hurt your brand. Maybe the brewer didn't show up for work that day or wasn't paying attention. Anyways, my constructive feed back is, I have tasted the other Kettle Sours that were good, this one was not and you should have not attempted to save it.

Pours hazy dark pink with foamy off white/pink head. Aroma of big cherries & lemon, with a VERY slight butryic acid note. Flavor is big on the cherry, with tart lemon, yogurt, pilsner malt, and a touch of mineral-y salt. The feel is medium and finishes dry with sparkling carbonation. Overall I love the cherry and the salt, the feel is great, just can't get over the aroma. I have had other kettle/mash soured beers where this aroma is very strong and off putting, this is not one of those beers. It is just barely there in this example, but its just enough to turn me off. Get rid of that aroma, and you've got an excellent beer! I hope another attempt is made at this one.

Poured on tap at the brewery in a teku, the beer is a cloudy, opaque, pink coloring, with a filmy, clingy, white head. Aromas of tart cherry, sweet dark cherry, earthy funk, and subtle sour notes. Flavors are tart and sour forward, with sweet cherry notes first and foremost. Subtle lemon juice and white grape must notes accent, with a solid sourness throughout. Very subtle saltiness. The body is light, dry, and with a slow building acidity. The finish is dry, crisp, and with a lingering sour cherry character.
