Cheryl Cheryl is the double dry-hopped version of our sour IPA Cheryl from Accounting. The acidity on this batch turned out perfect. 6.4%, hopped with Galaxy, Enigma, and Citra. Cheryl Cheryl then received huge double dry-hop of all Citra.

Palate Contaminants: other beer
Appearance is a slightly translucent medium straw color brew, moderate fine lacing.
The smell is grapefruit Tang. The citrus and sour equals grapefruit Tang. That's just the way it is. The acidic edge is missing, but the rest is there.
The taste starts off like an arugula salad with cranberries. (These descriptions are weirding -me- out, but it's what I'm getting.) There are also a couple of melon flavors, watermelon and honeydew. The taste finally settles into a non-sweet honey with brett. This might be one of the more fascinating brews I've had.
The feel is moderately-highly carbonated. Maybe this is the perfect adult beverage for a salad.

Poured in a teku at the brewery, the beer is a hazy, opaque, yellow coloring, with a foamy, clingy, fluffy white head. Nose of berries, dried grass, subtle medicinal and astringent characters, lemon, and tangerine. Favors are very sour and astringent forward, with a blast of lemon juice, white grape, tangerine, and dried grassy hops profiles. Cracker backbone, with a dry, astringent body. The aftertaste is sour and dry, with white wine and lemon juice notes. Dry, crisp finish. Good beer.

Pours a hazy straw color with thin white head. Aroma of melon, lemon, lychee, some "candied tropical fruit" from the Galaxy, and light malt. Flavor is slightly tart w/ all of the aroma descriptors in play and maybe a slight yoghurt-y twang.. The feel is somewhat light with moderate and tight carbonation. Overall, personally, I like this better than the original "Cheryl" but not as much as "Kevin" or "Boss Man." Good beer.
