Poured into a wine glass. A very hazy bright yellow color with a medium sized white head. Bright fruity aroma featuring, mango, pineapple, and dank resin. Taste followed. A great mix of fruit and dankness. Malt was there but crackery and in the background. Slightly sweet from the ABV but not boozy. Soft medium bitterness. Really excellent big NEDIPA.

According to the Veil, this is a double dry-hopped 100% Simcoe DIPA. From a week-old can, pours a glowing hazy orange. Decent white head and lacing. Smell has tangerine and other more general fruits, plus piney, earthy dank. Taste follows, with just a bit of a vinegary off-taste diminishing the experience. Even so, a very enjoyable beer for me.

From the bottom of the can: "10/15/19 10:16:24"

Appearance: The body is opaque and a medium shade of orange-beige. It has a short white head that is fluffy. Good retention.

Aroma: The aroma comes out immediately as the beer is poured. It smells like hop bine oil and a bit of tangerine. There is also another aroma which smells a bit odd but it's hard to pinpoint; it smells a bit like plastic but not quite. Overall the aroma is mostly the hop bine oil and is strong.

Taste: That plastic-like aroma comes through a bit in the flavor as well. There is a lot of grapefruit pith which really dominates the flavor. The plastic flavor is odd but it seems to only really appear as soon as the beer is sipped and then it dips off.

Mouthfeel: Hop burn and acidic feeling with a pithy bitterness.

Overall: The plastic aroma and flavor are off-putting but they seem to be shoved out of the way by the larger raw hop bine aroma and grapefruit pith flavor. As a whole it still feels below average and I don't feel compelled to buy it again. It's not a beer I'd likely recommend.

Pours an unusual not totally hazed, bright amber, yellow color with a small, spongy white head.

Smells of papaya, lime zest, wet grass and a pineapple-orange juice quality. No malts get detectable on the nose, but a water melon freshness, which perfectly adds to the fruits.

Has a soft mouthfeel with a sparkly midpalate. Its body never lets you think of this of an 8 abv double ipa, it is soft and mellow on the palate throughout. The only hint to the beers bigger body is its noteable sweetness, partly resulting from the lusciuos fruits, partly from sugary malts.

Transports the melon from the aromas to the palate, including lemon pulp, blueberries and herb infused grass. Turns a lot sweeter after this inital fruitiness, producing honey coated malts and sweet toffee, providing a profound malt backbone. This leads to cake coated passion fruit and lots of sugared white bread dough, with almost no hop punch prevailing.

Starts dryer than it finishes, with a nice hoppiness defining the taste until midpalate, when a powerful maltiness joins in. This certainly alters the taste fundamentally, but leads to a pleasant, balanced softness on the tongue with an exotic fruit peak.
