L - pours a brilliant crystal clear dark red with pink fringes. Looks like juice or sherry wine. Loud pinkish head that dissipates as fast as it fluffed up.
S - smells like White Zinfandel. Light Chardonnay butter and tart cherry sweetness. Sour salt lingers faintly in the background.
T - mouth-puckeringly sour! Hits hard in the same way wasabi does. Dark red cherries are much more prominent as a salty tartness takes over. Some smooth sweetness creeps in during the back half. Once the initial tart shock subsides, this becomes quite drinkable. I guess my palate just wasn't ready for that first sip.
F - surprisingly full-bodied for a sour/gose. The prickly foamy carbonation is still there, but smoothed out by a rich, elegant maturity.
O - good gose with the cherry twist. Smells great and drinks smoothly.

I want to start by saying i love the veil, there IPAs are amazing. This beer if absolutely horrendous. While the flavor is acceptable, and tastes like light cherry gose (nothing remarkable to be very clear, lots of what i consider cherry skin flavor) the smell is of septic tank/ farts. I drank about a 1/4 of this can and poured the rest out. Disgusting

Poured from 16 oz can (canned on ??) into a Veil house glass
Appear: gorgeous pinkish purple tint. like pomengrate juice. thin layer of pink head.
Nose: salty sour cherry goodness. also there's a hint of like Sprite lemon lime sugary fizz. maybe a little saltine cracker.
Taste: not as tart as I expected. actually a little sweet. really tasty. same notes of cherry. not as sour as alot of Goses I've had.
Mouth: thin and refreshing but i do get a slight creamy note.
Over: I dig it. Wish I had more than one. This beer would be awesome to have on a hot summer day. I just had it after doing a 4 mile run and it's really refreshing and delicious. I'm really happy with it.

Had to give this a 4.5 across the board. One of the more unique Goses I've had. Pinkish color with decent head. Berry bready taste, and good funk ... similar nose. Creamy mouth feel.
