From can (2 weeks old) into a teku.

Bright yellow, light orange appearance. Descent amount of foam head upon pour which dissipates during drinking. The nose has a great amount of tropical juicy notes with earthy dank aspect to it. I'm guessing the tropical juicy note and taste come from Galaxy-like hops and the earthy, dank from Nelson with a hint of Equinox… but it's really all Enigma. The taste is really a 50:50 between pineapple, mango flavors and earthy, light vegetable ones. The end is nice and smooth. Very easy drinking for 8%.

Appearance - Pours very dense cloudy orange/grapefruit juice color with nice thick white head spotty lacing all around the glass.

Aroma - Nice tart grapefruit juice aroma, orange and pineapple, hop bitterness.

Flavor - The taste is not as sweet as others I have tried in this style. Nice bitter bite, hops and grapefruit juice, unsweetened orange juice not many tropical flavors just hints of mango and pineapple but very tasty.

Feel - Medium body well carbonated pretty dry finish

Overall - I think they did well on this one great hop flavors nice bitter bite and solid feel.

Some pineapple on the nose but a little light -I personally like the smell of my NE-styles to explode out of the can and this one doesn't have a ton. Taste - unsweetened pineapple, a little apricot, nice touch of dank. Slight bitter kick at the end. A little dry. This is a tasty DIPA, that has some nice things going for it, but in what is becoming a very competitive field, can't give it an epic score.
