Naissance is a blend of two wine barrels that held turbid mashed, spontaneously fermented lambic-inspired ale for 13 months. NaIssance is also the first ever batch brewed at The Veil Brewing Co. (which was brewed on March 4th, 2016).

Sample at Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2017, red session. Aroma is really funky, even a bit stinky and dank with damp cellar notes. Taste is tart, dry, funky, light bodied with an old wood bitterness on the finish.
