Strong peanut or hazelnut in the aroma and taste. Chocolate as well. Very thin beer and flat in carbonation and no head

16 oz can purchased 5/23/17 and poured into Veil anniversary glass.

L: Big 3F+ brown head on pouring, but it quickly withers away to absolutely nothing exactly a thin line of bubbles on the very edge. Beer is pitch black even on edges when held up to light.

S: Smells a lot like vanilla coffee creamer with hazelnuts, cocoa, and roasted malts. How's that for concise? Also, that is a smell I can seriously get behind.

T: Holds up to nose pretty nicely. Hazelnuts jump out ahead of the coffee, followed by the vanilla and sweet dairy, and backed by cocoa (which in these things always seems to develop late and carry through end, I wonder why) and roasted malts. Finish is pretty neutral thanks the the malts, not too sweet and a touch of bitterness that makes my mind jump to chicory since this is coffee. But it probably isn't. Anyway, this is quite good.

F: And here comes my beef with the product, one that may not be solvable, in which case so be it: The mouthfeel is too thin for the style and the flavors. This really deserves a syrupy, high ABV savoring, but that may not be possible - I am no brewer. No carbonation to speak of, construction is great aside from the bit of wateriness, and balance is fantastic as all the flavors play very nice together.

O: There's a reason people line up for hours for Horns. Some of it is the novelty, but most of it is because it tastes very good.

Smell: peanut butter dry roasted nuts hazelnut coffee creamer vanilla cold brewed coffee some milk chocolate maybe a hint of dark roasted malts. Smells sweet and delicious.

Taste: right upfront some peanut butter dry roasted nuts some vanilla wafers the vanilla carries into the mid palate along with hazelnut coffee creamer cold brewed coffee and some milk chocolate the beer finishes with more of those dry roasted peanuts some dark roasted malt bitterness along with a berry sweetness that hangs around in the aftertaste.

Feel: medium full body moderate carbonation a bit sticky.

Overall: A damn tasty milk stout I got all the adjuncts but no one thing over powers the other. Really well done!
