Braühaüsenweisse is our take on a traditional Bavarian style Hefeweizen. Clocking in at 5.3%, Braühaüsenweisse is crisp, full of Hefe yeast esters, subtle clove, and effervescent. Über refreshing for these upcoming summer days. This is our type of Hefe!

The beer pours a fast and voluminous, foamy white head that disappears at a moderate pace. The beer itself is a good looking hazy pale gold color and a bit of orange too.
The smell is good. It has a strong spice not upfront followed by alight banana note and subtle bitter citrus hop note. The clove is there but it sure isn't subtle. It's strong enough to mix with the other note but not overwhelm them.
The taste is good. It has a predominant spice note upfront with a bit of orange hop note and a slight creaminess too. The clove is still there but much more subtle right now.
The feel is good. It has a very light body but with a slight heft to it. It has a tingling carbonation to it.
Overall, a pretty good beer and perfect for those hot days.

Poured a cloudy yellow body with an aroma that is light, citrusy and has hints of clove/spice. Smooth, great yeast taste as there is a fluffiness and bubblegum sweetness with a light citric taste that balances with mild spiciness from cloves (pepper) and finishes easy. Not most traditional hefe but pretty good.

Can stamped 10/20/17
Cloudy golden orange with a thick creamy head with decent stick. Floral aroma upfront with a whiff of wheat...mild clove, dried banana chips, nuts, and dry grassy spice. More clove in the flavor, light bubblegum, creamy banana, wheat, subtle citrus. Medium bodied fluffy smooth feel, drying out at the end. Could use a touch more effervescence, but the crisp finish keeps it nicely drinkable. Pretty pretty good...
