Never Dead is our Halloween inspired variant of our house Gose Never. For this variant we conditioned the 4.9% base beer on 400lbs of sour gummi worms and 300lbs of sour patch kids.

On tap at The Veil in Richmond.
Pours a hazy light orange with fine foam.
Smell is tart and lemony with sweet notes of gummy candy and sour winegums and a hint of... plums?
Taste is sweet and sour with sour winegums, Refreshers candy and some vanilla hamonizing with the base, lemony, salty beer. Great, if strange blend.
Mouthfeel is medium and creamy, well carbonated.
Overall, so weird, but so good. Loved it!

Never Dead - The Veil
Sour Candy Gose - 4.9% abv
Canned 10/30/17 (13 days ago)
L - minimal offwhite head doesn't last. Dark orange/brown body.
S - cotton candy, gummi worms, mixed berries. Highly unusual!
T - more gummi worms. A little salty, as it should be. Very sweet without much balancing tartness.
F - highly carbed, medium-low body.
O - A little too sweet, and could do with some additional tartness. Still, this is very unique, and I will appreciate it for its weirdness.

Can pour; what was in the glass looked like sludge, it was not inviting. The nose was in between Pledge and cheap cologne, with the flavors being similar and without any other notes. Finish was clean and for me, thankfully didn't linger.
