We are extremely pleased to announce the debut of the Special Combo series. This new DIPA series is an exploration of variables in the brew process for us. This series will allow us to experiment with different hop blends, different malt profiles, different yeasts, different water treatments, etc. We will refrain from releasing too much information about each Combo in an effort to reduce subconscious persuasion and allow you to truly enjoy each deliciously joosey treat.

Pours a hazy orange, with fine, soft foam.
Smell is pungent and juciy, with notes of mango and lemon candy leading the way, ahead of some grassy notes.
Taste is very juicy, mango, citrus, lemongrass and a hint of booze joins a nice, balanced bitterness and hop bite.
Mouthfeel is medium, soft and pillowy. Well carbonated.
Overall, another stellar NE DIPA by The Veil. I've come to expect nothing less.

Big thanks to KeepOnPouring for hooking me up with a can of this. Received in a trade Can date 2/20/18.
A - Poured into my Duvel tulip a super hazy milkshake with a two finger white head that faded slowly to leave a thin blanket and very light halo.
S - Aromas of very solid tangerine peel and zest, light grapefruit, faint herbal flash, nice citrus juice.
T - Taste is similar to the nose. Decent amount of tangerine peel and juice, little bit of green leafy hops, light grassy notes, just a little bit more of the herbal notes towards the finish. Finish is juicy, not bitter. Alcohol hidden quite nicely.
M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, cream, medium full body, alcohol hidden nicely.
O - Overall this was a very solid DIPA. The citrus could pop a bit more but otherwise it is quite enjoyable. Gotta love the bottle art as well!

On tap in DC at Churchkey.
Hops: ???
This was excellent. Reminded me of their best IIPAs, which are usually at 8% as well. Full mouthfeel, great aromatics, alcohol well hidden.

16oz can poured into a snifter
Canned 2/20/18
A- pours a murky pale yellow-orange color with a one finger foamy white head that reduces to leave a ring behind
S- hop profile is a mix of grapefruit, tangerine, ripe melon, mint, as well as some herbal notes
T- juicy grapefruit up front along with tangerine peel. Mid-palate has some grassy/leafy green notes. The finish gives citrus zest, more bitterness than usual on the linger
M- medium body with low carbonation leads to a bit of a flat mouthfeel and finish
O- easy drinking and juicy with a bit more perceived bitterness than usual
