TIPA - 10.5% abv
Canned 3/5/18 (22 days ago)
L - 1/2 finger yellowish head atop a deep dark orange body.
S - candied citrus, pineapple, pine, booze.
T - sweet citrus at first. Candy taste carries through to the middle, where it’s met by some booziness. Overall very smooth though. Very low bitterness.
F - medium-full body with low carb.
O - Hard to complete hide the booze at this abv, but this beer gets close to it.

Poured a thick, cloudy orange body with large head that left some lace patches. The aroma is basically acidic and orange juice like with minimal bitterness. Smooth, thick, has that "yeast-like" feel to it as the bitterness is almost non-existent. First thought is orange creamsicle just b/c the orange and sweet tastes are dominant; in the end you do get some caramel malt, grapefruit and some sharpness from citric hops and booze but mostly a clean and easy drinking beer that is very good.

On draft at Church Key. Served in a goblet glass. Pours a creamy, hazy golden yellow body, one finger white head, minimal retention and no lacing. Smell is grapefruit, honey, caramel, a bit of resin, as well as a bit of piney sap sweetness. Mildly sweet, but that nice fruity and minerally Conan presence is there underneath. Surprised that it's there, to be honest, in such a big beer like this, Slightly boozy. Flavour is pine, grapefruit, honey, caramel; it blends together fairly nicely to give a straightforward bitter citrus mixed in with a sweet grain background with a backend of a slight boozy sweetness. Mouthfeel is medium fuller bodied, substantial, good carbonation, moderately bitter with a strong, sweet and slightly boozy presence. Fairly good TIPA, big beer with a lot of hop flavours but the malt doesn't overwhelm that by any means.
