It pours a glowing, hazy orange with a big, white meringue head that sticks around at about a half-finger. Good retention, puffy cloud lacing. There are apricots, pears and a blend of ripe tropical fruits in the nose. The flavor follows suit but has some perfumey citrus-essence booze warmth and earthy bitterness at the end. It is soft-feeling beer and has a complimentary and noticeable alcohol presence, but still manages to be drinkable despite how big it is. A very nice beer that I'd gladly have again.

L: Had this beer on-tap at Growlers to Go - Short Pump, poured into a pint glass. Had a yellow-orange color a super cloudy consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy head that lasted an average amount of time. Pretty good lacing.
S: A sweet aroma of hops, malt, tropical fruit, and citrus as well.
T: Tasted of a mild amount of malt (mostly in the finish), some tropical fruit (passion fruit?), a little yeast, a good shot of hops (not overdone), and a little citrus (orange). This is an incredibly well-balanced flavor. A nice harmony between bitter and sweet. Quite delicious.
F: A solid amount of carbonation with a smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: On the whole, this is a well done DIPA. Very much drinkable.
