Good Hazy IPA!! Poured from a 16 oz can into a pint glass, this beer featured the typical hazy straw yellow color and a medium sized foamy white head. Good retention and tons of thick bands of foamy lacing on the glass. Aroma and taste included some tropical fruit, a little dankness, and mild bitterness. The fruit included pineapple and papaya. A nice blend to have with my baked chicken dinner, Mouthfeel was moderately rich, crisp and had some mild bitterness. Enjoyable!!!

No date on can, into an Ethereal Brewing tulip.

Pours a hazy orange with small white foam that lasts for ages. Aroma is fresh pineapple juice and papaya alongside some guava. Flavor is similar, lots of juicy pineapple and tropical fruit as well as a slight grassy bitterness. There's a little earthiness and some sweet malts but it finishes bitter and sticky. Feel is good, slightly brighter and a little thinner than I expected but still appropriately thick. Feels nice and not too heavy for a single IPA.

Decent stuff, pretty standard offering from the Veil.

16 oz can dated 11/22/24, just a couple weeks old.

Hops: Galaxy

I picked this up blind without realizing it was a 100% Galaxy hopped IPA, which I usually don't care for. This was pleasantly surprising. Super hazy, I can't imagine what the double hopped or triple hopped versions are like. This is about as far I need them to take it. Pineapple notes dominate, a little dry on the back end.

I haven't been too impressed by The Veil's offerings in cans lately but this one is great.

Month-old can poured into a tulip glass.

Another reviewer mentioned green pepper and that brought clarity for me. Gorgeous hazy in terms of coloring and creamy body without going murky, with a fantastic foamy head. And the nose on this one is massive, bright, and complex, with a beautiful mix of weedy dankness, juicy citrus and tropical fruits, and vineous grapes. And while there are nice juicy elements to the taste profile, it’s also starchy and harsh and there is a STRONG green pepper vibe that’s hard to get past. I really want to like it and there are positives notes to focus on, but the overall taste profile is sub-par. Such a pity, as every other aspect of this beer is stellar.

CK during World Cup.

Off putting Veil house yeast character, though not pure green pepper like some. Overwhlems the Galaxy for the most part. Not very good.

Poured a cloudy yellow body with minimal head. Aroma has a mix of juiciness with orange and white grapefruit along with some acidic bitterness. Smooth, medium body, a sweet almost tropical fruit sweetness with a floral hoppy quality and a clean finish.

Appearance - Pours murky deep orange with nice white head that settles to a rocky cap. Lot's of lacing around the glass.

Aroma - Lots of citrus orange, mango, and pineapple. Little bit of pine and earthy aromas.

taste - Really soft tropical flavors mango and pineapple nice herbal earthy flavors. Not getting any of the pine I picked up in the aroma but the flavors are really well balanced, nothing mind shattering just solid.

Feel - medium bodied soft carbonation with a slightly dry finish.

Overall - Solid IPA nice flavors nice nose just a solid beer nothing that blows you away.

Thank you CanConPhilly for this
16 oz can, dated 5/28/18, poured into a teku

A- A hazy golden orange with a three finger white head

S- Earthy, citrus, some malts, herbal, hints of citrus zest, sweet orange peel.

T- Citrus, some citrus zest, touch of tropical fruits, some orange peels, touch of malts, an earthy/herbal quality that is just out of place.

M- Smooth, medium body.

O- Not a bad IPA from the Veil, but not as good as other IPAs I’ve had from them.

alone - The Veil
IPA - 6% abv
Canned 5/28/18 (6 days ago)

L - 3-finger marshmallow white head is high density and lingers. Body is an opaque, gleaming orange.

S - tropical fruits, orange, pine, some herbalness. Has an earthy/soily element to it that is unusual.

T - interesting. Dirty/earthy hops are what I get first, which I don’t associate with Galaxy. A small amount of dankness, along with orange and pineapple. Medium bitterness. Low sweetness. No booziness.

F - medium body with medium-high carb.

O - an unusual take on a single-hop galaxy ipa.

6oz pour in red wine glass at brewery

L: Golden with light orange and very hazy
S: Citrus first - grapefruit, orange zest - with some tropical notes behind
T: Mostly citrus juice, but a touch of the malt comes through
F: Mild bitterness, mostly dry, but that citrus juice lingers a bit
O: Pretty easy drinking IPA with a citrus lead and a bit of tropical and dank hops in the background
