Pours a hazy light orange with fine, soapy foam.

Smell is juicy with notes of of peaches, starfruit and a hint of licorice.

Taste is juicy and a tad boozy, with the peaches from the nose gettting some company from melon and some sweetness. The sweetness becomes more pronounced with some warmth.

Mothfeel is medium, soft and pillowy, well carbonated.

Overall, a nice DIPA, very easy to drink for the ABV, with the great mouthfeel I like from The Veil.

Pours a milky orange juice color with a half-inch of juice froth head that completely evaporates leaving barely any lacing.

The aroma is big juicy citrus and papaya with grass behind. Taking a drink, resinous, sappy (but not sticky) bitterness gently slaps your tongue accompanied by a chewy woodsy, citrus-oil-bitterness-laden flavor that drones on through the finish. All of this on the back of bready malt and a light alcohol warmth.

This is a nice beer and is not what I expected. In fact, like the name suggests I was enticed by the sweetness of the smell and surprised by the earthy bitterness in the flavor. I really like the combo, as I feel that oftentimes beers like this benefit from more bitterness than what they have. Anyway, a very nice beer.
