Poured from 16oz can into glass. Canning date is stamped on can bottom as '09/11/18'.
Murky body, has the color of rhubarb puree. Slight head upon pouring goes away, leaving rising bubble fed islands and very thin ring. Some spots and short strings of lacing are left behind with each sip.
I get mango and blackberry in the aroma, but the apricot is very faint.
Quite the fruity combination in the taste, with a bit of a hint toward the beet. Mango and blackberry spring out, but not much for the apricot. The lactose is also present, particularly at the end of the taste profile.
Thicker, lip smacking mouth feel. Has some tongue burn. Fruity and tart, with the sweetness of the lactose.
Tasty fruit smoothie beer. Well done, but one per session is enough.

Appearance: Arrives like a smoothie, with the cloudy mauve liquid capped by a pinkish head that drapes lace
Smell: With each whiff the blackberry, mango and apricot tones each take a bow to show off their lactic glory
Taste: Apricot and mango forward with the blackberry emerging; lactic and juicy with the sweetness underpinning
Mouthfeel: The lactose gives this a great thick mouthfeel; low carbonation
Overall: This smoothie style sour is absolutely delicious
