Canned 07/06/25 (I think?), into a wide wine glass.
Pours a murky orange with lovely white foam. Aroma is rotting fruit, a little Nelson white grape funk, and decaying vegetal matter. Flavor is a lot of mango and citrus alongside a little coconut and a lot of smooth, weedy dankness. There's some spicy alcohol on the back half and a lot of rotting fruit flavors as well that really lend the beer its name well. I really like the DDH version, and the TDH version is more aggressive and assertive in the right ways. Feel is good, not as thick as I would've expected, and of course it's higher bodied. Very complex with a long, bittersweet finish and a lot of interesting interplay between herbal and fruit flavors. Not juicy or sweet at all outside of the front end.
Overall, a crazy overly hoppy IPA done very well by the Veil. I missed their beers as of late; it's really good stuff.

The tap pour is pale yellow and opaque, hosting a 1/2 cm cap of fluffy foam and a sprucy aroma.
The flavor includes grapefruit, apricot and pine. The triple hop treatment provides a prickly, yet welcome, hop bite.
The spruce persists with the hop sting in the finish.
This is superb.

16 oz. can from October 13 release. Poured into Alchemist glass.
L: 1F+ head with good retention, leaves lots of lacing and a ring. Beer is a hazy orange-gold.
S: Seriously fruit-bomby with pineapple, peach, grapefruit, and orange. Grass and earth on back end.
T: Lots of tropical and citrus fruit up front as per the nose, very dank and earthy on the back end, a bit bitter and boozy.
F: Medium bodied, decent carbonation. Somewhat decent drying, but gets bitter and boozy beforehand so I have to ding it a bit for that. They really packed the hops in, but lost some balance.
O: I'd love for them to give another try, because they are close to a real classic here, just need to dial the back end in a bit.

This beer is incredible, one of my top DIPAS! Can dated 9/11/18 poured into a custom glass mug! Looks like OJ with a nice white foamy head leaving lacing behind. Smells like a fruity juicy bomb and the taste follows with pineapple, mango, papaya, oranges, and hint of dank. Zero malt prescents int smell or taste. The feel was full, soft and creamy coating your mouth with sticky hops. Overall it was a delight to have and I will get more the next release! Cheers
