On tap, pours a not-fully hazy gold. Smell is tropical and dank. Taste is extremely vegetal. Also fruity and a bit of pine. Really reveals the green matter. Strange, but good.

From a 16oz can, dated 09/17/18. Served in a spiegelau-style IPA glass.
Pours a thoroughly murky, deep, dull orange-gold with a scant finger of foam. Retention not worth speaking of, leaves a thin soapy collar. Looks heavy and dull.
Moderate-to-faint nose of peachy yeast, flowers, pineapple-mango.
Tastes of composted fruit, melon, orange, pineapple, mango, grapefruit rinds. Flowery, dank, with residual sugariness and vanishingly low bitterness. Finishes sour (rye?) and stickily boozy.
Feel is thick, slick and slippery. Medium-hefty bodied with probably-not-quite-adequate carbonation.
Overall, enjoyable enough albeit in a heavy, composty, sugary, palate-wrecking sort of way. At 11% abv, it actually managed to feel like it was even bigger than that. Brighter carbonation would have lightened and improved the beer significantly.

Many thanks to Knapp85 for bringing this can back from VA.
A - Medium to dark orange gold opaque colored pour with a frothy white layer of sticky creamy foam.
S - Sweet sticky pine, juicy citrus, mango, pineapple, and some peach.
T - Resinous hops from start to finish. Pineapple, peach, mango, citrus, papaya, lime, red grapefruit all the way through, and just a hint of peppery spicy fruit rind. Ends with a balanced fruity sweetness.
M - Thick, viscous, and slippery. A little sugary on the lips but not much. Semi-dry - to dry on the finish.
O - This is a very deceptive 11% beer. Goes down easy with no burn whatsoever. Impressive. Recommended.
