Thanks Drew.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a spectacular mature hazy burnt orange color with a small cap of a little white foamy head. Cleanly dissipated to leave a slight concave lace.
The aroma takes a slight hop spice (somewhat danky but oniony) to roll into some orange pulp and rind, very nice bitter piney hop ends.
The flavor mildly leads with a keen hop spice but gently ends up adhering to a nice balance of hop spice, sweet and bitter with a noticeable dried rolling citrus peel. Extremely quick aftertaste of dried fruit skin.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Carbonation felt good, low as expected. ABV felt on par. Somewhat of a dried citrusy fruity skin-like finish.
Overall, very nice DIPA in the New England fashion, I'd have again.
