Maple Whangdoodle is the imperial version of Hornswoggler Chocolate Milk Stout aged in @BLiS Gourmet maple bourbon barrels for over a year. At 11.5% ABV it has an incredible body, layered maple flavor and chocolate character along with a toffee complexity and finish

The beer is dark chocolate black, which means a really dark brown. The smell is fairly bittersweet with a good mix of maple syrup and milk stout notes. The syrup is a bit sugary while the chocolate is bitter with a slight roasted note to it. The taste follows the smell but at different intensities. In the taste, the syrup overwhelms the chocolate note and becomes a bit hard to drink. The body is heavy but creamy and easy to drink.
